Your puppy's first groom: what to expect

The first few visits to a groomer are about far more than a tidy-up. They teach your puppy that the salon is a safe, fun place.

We start with short sessions: lots of sniffing, a gentle brush, getting used to the sound of the dryer and having paws handled.

Over the following visits we build up to a bath, nails and a little tidy of face and feet, always at your puppy's pace.

At home, short daily brushes and touching ears and paws make a huge difference. Treats help too!
